In modern times, they are used as decorative retro jars to hold cosmetics, perfumes, and other items (bath salt, room fragrance container etc). Our apothecary jar family comes in small as well as large sizes.
The filling capacity of the different jars varies between, 50 ml (1 2/3-oz) and 2 L (67 2/3-oz).
